eBay Clarifications & Rectifications!~ ( Beginner Sellers )

Haha!~ Was too excited after seeing the upgrade of eBay Malaysia that I must rectify a few stuff I've wrote yesterday befor I made detailed checks ; )
FYI, when you list your item, 2nd category listings are still free unless your main category listing has applied charges, which means you have to x2( double ) the fees. Some one asked me what's second category? I'll give you guys an example so you can refer to:

Scenario:

I want to sell an optical mouse on eBay.

Steps:

1) Always choose a good title for the item you are selling.

2) You can list your item in 2 categories: 1st category & 2nd category ( you can also just list it in 1 category but since it's free why not make use of the 2nd category? )

For instance, below are the 2 categories I select to list my item:

Computers & Networking --> Desktop PCs & Components Computers & Networking --> Laptop, Notebooks, Accessories

3) Price your item. If you just registered for a new account, your rating will be "0". You can just list a starting price for auction. For example RM15. If your rating is "5" or more ( if I'm not mistaken ), you can put a "Buy It Now" price ( RM0.10 fee applies, since I list it in 2 categories so it's x2 - RM0.20 for this case ) say RM20 which you're happy to sell it off at.

Pros: You can sell it off at your desired price & others can click it instantly without waiting for the auction time to end - instantaneous. When you want to clear stock to free up your cash flow.

( TIP: FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO WANT TO PLACE PUT THE "BUY IT NOW" BUTTON WITHOUT BEING CHARGED, THERE'S A WAY AROUND IT. INSTEAD PUTTING IT UNDER ONLINE AUCTION, CLICK THE TAB BESIDE IT WHICH SAYS "BUY IT NOW". THIS FEATURE IS ONLY AVAILABLE WHEN U REACH A RATING OF "3" OR "5" OR HIGHER, CAN'T REALLY REMEMBER )

Cons: Your item will not go more than RM20 compared to if you just put an auction price where you can fetch a higher price if your potential buyer/bidders are really captivated by your item & willing to pay even more than RM20.

So survey the market.

4) With the recent upgrade, you can put in colour, fonts, layout & all that without using html. So do check it out. For those who prefer good old html where you can add in more stuff, you can still do that by clicking the tab next to "Standard".

Time & Tide Wait For No Men - New eBay Layout

Hi guys!~ There's some updates on eBay Malaysia. For those who are familiar with eBay Malaysia would know that it has been quite troublesome due to the absence of certain features compared to eBay.com.
So here's the good news - eBay Malaysia has upgraded!!!~ The layout has been standardized - which means the functionality is now more or less like eBay.com & .sg ( Singapore ). I think it happened the night before last. When I woke up yesterday morning I thought - "Arghh, finally they're charging!!!" BUT HERE'S ANOTHER GOOD NEWS - you can list your items up stil free of charge! No insertion fee nor final fee charges as yet ( so register for free & start listing for FREE while , only 2nd category charges ( x2 for everything ) which was free the last time. Where the gallery picture used to appear in the main listing page is now an "upgraded" feature, which means it's chargable! So make sure you guys who have using eBay watch out & not be charged unnecessarily. Oh yes, "Buy It Now" is also chargable - RM 0.10.
Well for those of you who have no idea of what I'm talking & babling about but wants to start an eBay business - I'm more than willing to help with a minimal chargable fee. Believe me it's easier with guidance + proper materials to jump start & the returns will be more than what you pay for! Tell me which business does not require investment? eBay ID Update

Hi, a slight update on my wife's eBay ID. For those of you who may have noticed at the right hand panel under "eBay Auction - Buy More With Less", due to certain reasons my wife's ID was changed to "psr3000yamahakeyboard". But now she has changed it back to "monica_ong1215". The link is basically the same but just in case you see how come the ID is different - so that explains it, if you really follow what I've been saying ;)

Welcome to our official blog. We've had our website established about a year ago, now we have our own blog. Due to the changing trend, I guess websites has it's place of serving its purposes, but a blog is an addition to the current flavour. Going with the flow, knowing the times & seasons....
